Grand Cherokee Night Hawk Hood Demon Style 2011-2022
Already one of the best off road SUVs, the 2011-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is beating out its competition by coming out with the Track Hawk. To further add to the design, BMC has added this all American made ram air hood Demon style hood was coined the Night Hawk hood. The massive true ram air scoop grabs the air and pushes it through for an increase in air flow and horsepower in highway speeds. The scoop collects so much air it needs 2 support points. Not wanting to stop there, BMC utilized the design to add clearance for the largest surchargers. So whether you are cruising on a SXT, wanting to add a supercharger to the SRT, or upgrading the supercharger on your SRT Trackhawk, this hood has what you want.
It will fit all 2011-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Functionality:
Ram Air hood. The Night Hawk hood has a built-in Large Ram Air tunnel which is fully functional as cool air enters from the open oversized center scoop and is directed to the air box location.
Material:
Fiberglass. The Grand Cherokee Night Hawk hood is made of hand laid fiberglass. This fiberglass hood requires prep, prime and paint. But due to BMC's use of vinyl-ester resin system that exceeds the quality demands of the automobile industry, this means shrinkage and heat distortion are non existent. Additionally the resin is easily dispensed into a laminate allowing for even consistent fiber compacting and air dispersal, so less prep work is required than most aftermarket hand laid fiberglass hoods.
Metal Reinforcements. There is a reinforced metal latch & hinge plate for additional safety. The integrated scoop insert completes the look.
Installation:
Direct Replacement. Installation and prep instructions. This hood is made to be a direct bolt on using OEM Hardware.
Pre-baked. Hood comes pre-baked and does NOT require additional baking, saving you prep time and money at the body shop. Meaning shrinkage and heat distortion are non existent.
Hood Pins. Hood pins are highly recommended but not included for all aftermarket hoods.
