BMC 2010-2014 Shelby GT500 Black Mamba Ram Air Hood Unpainted
Restyle your 2010-2014 Ford Mustang GT500 with the Black Mamba ram air Hood with heat extractions by BMC Extreme Customs. Made to stand out with the prominent center scoop, complementing the original body lines. The heat extraction vents are made to keep the engine cooler, while the ram air funnels air on top of factory intake box.
Fitment:
This aftermarket hood will fit the following:
2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 Ford Mustang GT500
2013 2014 Ford Mustang all models (including GT and V6)
It will NOT fit 2010 2011 2012 Ford Mustang GT nor V6.
Functionality:
Ram Air hood. The Black Mamba hood has a built-in Ram Air Kit which is fully functional as cool air enters from the open front air scoop and is directed to the air box location.
Heat Extraction. The top 45 degree hood vents are fully functional and work as heat extractors. The fiberglass heat extractor vent grille are removable and can be painted separate from the hood to add a unique look.
Material:
Fiberglass. The Black Mamba Mustang hood is made of hand laid fiberglass, finished on both the top and bottom of the hood with smooth gel coat.
Metal Reinforcements. There is a reinforced metal latch & hinge plate for additional safety. The integrated stainless mesh grille completes the look.
Installation:
Direct Replacement. Installation and prep instructions. This hood is made to be a direct bolt on using OEM Hardware. These hoods install easily and securely using OEM hardware and manufacturer accessories.
Hood Pins. Hood pins are highly recommended but not included for all aftermarket hoods. As with all fiberglass hoods; the Black Mamba hood requires prep, prime, and paint.
Carbon Fiber Heat Vents. Add a kiss of carbon fiber to your hood.
